Depending on what you say it can be random. Schedule-wise you have to be pretty specific with your availability and what times you want to work cuz they go by that. includes a lot of little jobs like it's not JUST washing dishes ok no job is easy but that's my opinion. Being a dishwasher here specially in C.B. Oh and if you have a low tolerance of hot water or hot temperatures then I don't recommend being a dishwasher because the water has to be rlly hot in order to get rid of the bad germs and therefore makes the clean dishes rlly hot. You just have to be comfortable with multitasking, stressful environments, and being by yourself sometimes.

Ongoing tubs of dishes plus carts of pans and pots.

Especially if you're a dishwasher because it is literally ongoing. Working on holidays or in busy times in general suck. Workwise, there are very slow times and very busy times especially on the holidays. (To me, that is.) They train you well and there's a really good discount for both food and the store. Some people were nice but thats not very important. Worked here for about 5 to 6 months and I don't recommend working here unless you have no choice, like if you have a better option then go for that instead. I've seen food dropped on the floor and picked up to put back onto the plate of a customers order, employees sneezing over plates of - more. Lastly, Management needs to keep an eye out on the food being sent out to customers. No paperwork was signed, so it's like I was never an employee there. I worked 5 hours and because I wasn't correctly put into their system, I will not be receiving compensation for my time. Take the onboarding process seriously! A first impression is a lasting one. Lying in the job interview to fill a position is not the proper way to do business. You can't say someone's availability is okay and then change your mind.

Management needs to respect the agreement established in the job interview.
#DISHWASHER EVIEWS CRACKER#
This is by far the worst job I have ever worked at and you should think twice before accepting the dishwashing position at Cracker Barrel. At this time I'm exhausted, hungry and by myself. I was told that I would not receive a break for an 11 hour shift. After 5 hours of working, I was curious about when breaks were. So I figured out a spot I could be useful. I was immediately thrown into the dish room and was given no direction. On top of that, they never actually did my paperwork and officially set me up as an employee. I told them I had to be back at a certain time to watch my kid, their response was "well then you better hurry". I started my first day and was told I had to stay past my availability from the start. They made it sound like my availability would be respected (it wasn't).

I had an interview for a dishwashing position.
